Posta Marucci - Hot Springs
Posta Marcucci has its roots in the 19th century, when there was an inn here with a grocery store and postal service for the town of Bagno Vignoni. In the mid-1950s it was transformed into a hotel and within a few decades the swimming pools opened.
Since ancient times, Bagno Vignoni has been known for its beneficial water that flows from the earth at a temperature of 49°C. The Romans appreciated it, as did the Medici and even Santa Caterina. We collect it in two pools set in a tree-lined garden overlooking the Rocca d’Orcia. The water is rich in calcium, iron, zinc and has always stood out for its healthiness, which in our Italian rhymes with hospitality.
Complementing the thermal pools, Posta Marucci offers an array of wellness and spa services, including massages, facials, body treatments, and holistic therapies. Designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation, these treatments often feature natural, locally sourced ingredients, contributing to a distinctive and revitalizing experience.
