Class Descriptions:
Kaiut
Kaiut Yoga is designed to promote the healthy biomechanical functioning of the joints. This practice unwinds chronic adhesions in the soft tissues and helps strengthen and unlock the body's major joints. Both challenging and restorative, this class is composed of restful, supported Yin postures combined with finely directed micro engagements that together trigger pain relief and improve mobility. Participants experience profound, regenerative effects in their systems. All levels and bodies are welcome—this practice is for all! (Beginner Friendly)
Kaiut Soft Series
A new take on the Kaiut 100 Series, this style of practice approaches the traditional sequences from new angles. Utilize chairs, couches, beds, blankets, and pillows for new types of stimulation. Try a regular Kaiut class, then compare it with its Soft Series counterpart. Learn variations for common poses and find new inspiration for your practice. Please note that soft doesn’t mean easy. These classes are designed to challenge you in a whole new way. (Beginner Friendly)
KAIUT SPECIAL TOPICS
Dive deeper into your Kaiut practice in this special topics class. Explore longer holds and more directly focused sequences. Each week, our focus will shift—an hour on the feet one week, an hour of standing poses the next. Consider this a teacher’s practice, as Tucker will guide you through strong, therapeutic postures that dredge up old restrictions for quicker processing. Experience with the Kaiut Method is required in order to take this class. (This is not a class for first-timers)
VigorouS Flow (Heated)
Experience a dynamic and invigorating practice that focuses on building strength and enhancing concentration. This class features powerful, flowing sequences designed to challenge and energize you. Expect to work up a sweat, have fun, and explore inversions. This class is best suited for those with a foundational knowledge of yoga postures and is not recommended for complete beginners.
